“I joined People For Puget Sound in the summer of 2007 to run our outreach, volunteer and education programs.   I’m excited to bring my experience building educational programming at Catalina Island Marine Institute in California, and Save The Harbor/Save The Bay in Boston, to my work here on the Sound.  Plus, I get to use my degrees and geek out about marine biology all the time.

Other than working with our passionate volunteers and staff, my favorite critters around the Sound are the elegant moon jellies.  I discovered my favorite place on Puget Sound my first summer at Alki Beach.  There you can see (on a clear day) the nature we’re trying so hard to protect and the people we’re working with to make it happen.”
