Friday Flotsam and Jetsam
It's your weekly roundup of flotsam and jetsam from all around the internet, when we share the things that have caught our attention in the last week.
Whoosh! We're already at the end of the first month of the new decade. It's been a busy month, and a busy week with Kathy Fletcher & co. on KUOW to talk about the State of the Sound on Monday, Environmental Lobby Day on Tuesday, the State of the Union on Wednesday, Thursday was a blur and now it's finally Friday. How was your week? What's your status?
My status is happy that...
- the Department of Transportation is going to do more to prevent stormwater pollution from highways.
- Environmental Lobby Day was a big success.
- a vast majority of people believe that protecting Puget Sound is important.
impressed by...
learning about...
- the Skokomish River system.
- estuaries being more than "just mudflats".
- stormwater and its effects in Puget Sound.
and sad that...
the Puget Sound Partnership isn't doing too much this legislative session.
