Ritts Named to Deputy Director Post

Heather Ritts today joined the staff of People For Puget Sound as its Deputy Director.
Ritts, of Kirkland Washington, is former Chief Financial Officer of Resolute Solutions Corporation which provides IT professional services to mid-size Fortune 500 companies. She has also served as financial consultant to high-tech startup companies and has extensive experience in financial management and accounting.
“This is an exciting career change for me,” said Ritts. “I am looking forward to bringing my skills and experience to the challenge of saving Puget Sound and growing People For Puget Sound.”
People For Puget Sound was launched in 1991 by founder Kathy Fletcher as a citizens organization dedicated to educating and involving people in protecting and restoring the land and waters of Puget Sound and the Northwest Straits. It currently employs 25 full time staff in three offices and has an annual operating budget of $2.9 million.
