Harbor Lights 2009 "Party for the Sound" Fundraiser Counting Down to October 10

People For Puget Sound’s Harbor Lights 2009 annual dinner and auction fundraiser is counting down to October 10 when hundreds of supporters of clean water are expected to “Party For The Sound” at The Fremont Studios in Seattle.

Governor Christine Gregoire will speak at the annual gala event.

This year’s seating reservation deadline of Saturday, September 26, is quickly approaching. After the deadline, seating reservations will increase from $100 to $125.

This year’s dinner and auction is held in partnership with the Puget Sound Business Travel Association. 
The evening features an extensive silent auction and a live auction of major travel and experience items like those donated by Lindblad Expeditions and those secured through this year’s partnership with the Puget Sound Business Travel Association.

Travel auction items include:

* Korean Airlines business class trip for two to anywhere they fly in China. ($20,000 value)

* Icelandair trip for two to Reykjavik, for a fabulous Glacier Walking Tour and hotel stay. (Value: $12,432)

*  10 day/nine night adventure for two exploring the Galapagos Islands with Lindblad Expeditions aboard the National Geographic Endeavour. (Value: $9,480)

*Trip for two on Virgin Australia in Premium Economy class to any of their ports of call. (Value: $13,000)

Highlighting the dinner is a raw bar provided by Taylor Shellfish, seasonal Northwest cuisine by Kaspars, and a wide variety of Northwest microbrews and wines.
