Environmental Conference Coordination **CLOSED**

"Storming the Sound" is our one-day professional development conference for environmental and sustainability educators.

People For Puget Sound seeks an intern to coordinate our Storming the Sound Environmental Conference. This internship is an exciting opportunity for a university student hoping to acquire hands-on, professional work experience.

The intern selected for this position will serve on the conference planning team and create a “Nuts & Bolts” Handbook for hosting this event - which will be the template for all Storming the Sound conferences around Puget Sound.

People For Puget Sound has been organizing this event for 10 plus years. BUT! The formula for it lives in our Education Director’s head. We need to produce a handbook for these influential annual conferences so that they can be implemented by our partners across the Sound.

We also need this intern to cast a fresh eye on our process for a critical analysis of our procedures. The goal of this internship is a valuable, well-defined product which will be a key resource for the professional staff of People For Puget Sound.
